Mikel Arteta's side will be waking up this morning as league leaders again following the emphatic victory over the Premier League's bottom side. The Gunners proved their quality throughout against the Reds and were victorious thanks to goals from Gabriel Martinelli, Thomas Partey, Martin Odegaard and a Reiss Nelson brace.
Despite the thrilling performance and result, the game provided one negative aspect as Bukayo Saka was forced off after only 27 minutes after receiving two lots of treatments. After the game, Arteta played down the severity of the injury but there remains a fear that the 21-year-old could miss next month's World Cup.
Special praise must fall onto Nelson's lap. The winger made the most of his opportunity off the bench with his third and fourth Premier League goals for the club in his first league appearance of the season.
With that being said, attention now turns back to Europa League action for the final time this year and Thursday's game with FC Zurich.

Confirmed Full list of referees for 2022 Qatar World Cup A total of 129 match officials will referee the 2022 Qatar World Cup, which is set to kick off on Sunday, November 20th. 35 officials from 29 countries will be refereeing the tournament’s 64 matches. Two of those 35 are Premier League officials. Michael Oliver and Anthony Taylor will be joining the 69 assistant referees and 24 video match officials. For Oliver, it will be his first major tournament following his appearance at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland in 2019.
