Cristiano Ronaldo Signs For Saudi Arabian Club Al-Nassr

Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Saudi Arabian side Al Nassr, the club has confirmed.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner was officially unveiled by the Saudi Arabian club on Friday night after weeks of rumours.

The deal was expected to be announced on New Year’s Eve but came early due to speculation building on social media.

Ronaldo was a free agent after leaving Manchester United last month.

His contract was terminated by mutual consent following an explosive interview with Piers Morgan, in which he criticised the club’s owners the Glazers and manager Erik ten Hag, among others.

That saw him lose his £26million per year salary – yet he’s now earning a lot more.

As reported by Saudi state-owned broadcaster Al Ekhbariya, Ronaldo will be paid a whopping £172m per year by Al-Nassr.
