 OFFICIAL: Cristiano Ronaldo Joins New Club On A Free Transfer (Photos)

Former Real Madrid star, Cristiano Ronaldo has joined a new club, as he signed a two-year and the half deal with Saudi Arabian side Al-Nassr. the Portuguese forward was a free agent after his contract at Manchester United was mutually terminated.

Ronaldo revealed in November that he turned down a £305m Saudi Arabia move in the summer but he would now play in the Saudi Arabian league after reaching an agreement with Al-Nassr.

The 37 years old left English Premier League side Manchester United last month on the eve of the World Cup. It followed an explosive television interview in which the forward said he felt betrayed by the club and did not respect their Dutch manager Erik ten Hag.

According to reports, the former Juventus star will earn a total salary of 200m euro per year which includes a commercial deal. Ronaldo's salary is presently the biggest salary ever in football.

Confirmed Full list of referees for 2022 Qatar World Cup  A total of 129 match officials will referee the 2022 Qatar World Cup, which is set to kick off on Sunday, November 20th. 35 officials from 29 countries will be refereeing the tournament’s 64 matches. Two of those 35 are Premier League officials. Michael Oliver and Anthony Taylor will be joining the 69 assistant referees and 24 video match officials. For Oliver, it will be his first major tournament following his appearance at the FIFA U20 World Cup in Poland in 2019. Taylor, meanwhile, will be taking part in his second major tournament, having refereed in last summer’s Euro 2020.
